Atexco Model X Plus
Industrial Sublimation Printer | 1800mm & 3200mm | Unattended, High-Speed, High-Density
OVERVIEW
The Atexco Model X Plus is an industrial sublimation printer engineered for unattended, high-volume textile and transfer paper production — saving labour, paper, printhead life, and ink versus conventional commercial-grade sublimation printers. Available in 1800mm and 3200mm printing widths, the Model X Plus delivers a carriage speed of 2.2 m/s — 2.75 times faster than a commercial printer’s typical 0.8 m/s — enabling 1-pass production at 300–400 m/hr on a 1,500 mm wide substrate. Built on a 14mm carbon steel chassis, dual-rail linear motor guide, one-piece aluminium beam with 0.05mm deviation tolerance, complete Siemens electronics, and servo drive motors throughout, the Model X Plus is the industrial platform for sublimation operations running 24 hours a day where machine reliability, sharpness consistency, and low running costs are non-negotiable.

Description
Save Labour — Industrial, Unattended, Lower Labour Cost
- The Model X Plus is engineered for unattended industrial operation — reducing the dependency on skilled operator supervision during long production runs. Servo drive motors handle stepping, winding, and unwinding automatically. Full body coverage safety enclosure protects the operator while enabling fully enclosed production. Labour cost per metre of output is structurally lower than on commercial printers requiring active operator management.
Save Paper — Down to 18g Paper
- The Model X Plus supports sublimation transfer paper down to 18 gsm — significantly lighter than many competitive machines can handle. The enlarged main rubber roller with triple brush roller system enables stable feeding at high speed with less wrinkling, making ultra-lightweight paper viable for high-throughput production and delivering direct material cost savings per linear metre.
Save Printhead — Longer Life
- Industrial design choices throughout the machine extend printhead service life versus commercial-grade alternatives. The isolated electrical cabinet keeps electronics away from ink pollution. Complete Siemens electronics across all systems ensure stable, consistent electrical supply to the print heads. The ink supply system — moved from Atexco’s VEGA textile printer — includes ink filtering, degassing, and positive/negative dynamic ink control for consistent head performance across the full print run.
Save Ink — Dry Faster, Higher Density
- Atexco’s Ultra High Density (UHD) water-based sublimation ink dries faster and delivers higher color density than conventional sublimation inks — meaning less ink per unit of color output, with faster throughput and a lower cost per metre. OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT and ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) certified, the ink also satisfies the environmental and compliance requirements of fashion and textile brands sourcing digitally printed fabric.
