OVERVIEW
GongZheng UV inks are manufacturer-formulated UV-curable inks developed for the full range of GongZheng UV printing platforms — flatbed UV printers (H-series), hybrid UV printers (ThunderJet DQ and GZF series), roll-to-roll UV printers (ThunderJet AQ UV series), and DTF UV printers (Pixy U series). Unlike sublimation or water-based inks, UV-curable inks cure instantly under LED or mercury UV lamps — eliminating drying time, enabling printing on rigid substrates (acrylic, glass, metal, wood, PVC, ceramics), and producing durable, scratch-resistant output with excellent adhesion. GongZheng UV inks are available in CMYK, White, and Varnish (V) configurations — covering the color requirements of sign, display, packaging, décor, and textile UV printing applications across the GongZheng UV printer range sold and serviced by Insight Within in India.

- Instant UV-LED Cure — No Drying Time
GongZheng UV inks cure instantly under the UV LED or mercury lamps integrated into the printer — eliminating the drying time that constrains water-based ink throughput on non-porous substrates. The instant cure also prevents dot spread on smooth surfaces, preserving fine detail and sharp edges that are essential for text, logo, and technical graphic applications. - White Ink — Printing on Any Substrate Color
The White (W) channel is a defining capability of the GongZheng UV printer range. A high-opacity white underprint is deposited first on dark, colored, or transparent substrates — then color inks are applied on top — enabling vibrant, accurate color output regardless of the base material color. Without white ink, color printing on dark acrylics, colored PVC, or transparent glass produces muddy, inaccurate results. - Varnish (V) — Spot Gloss, Matte, and 3D Texture
The Varnish (V) channel enables the printer to apply a clear UV-curable coat over selected areas of the printed image in a single production pass. Applications include spot gloss varnish over key design elements, overall matte coating for premium packaging effects, and high-build 3D texture for tactile branding — effects previously requiring a separate offline coating process. - Rigid Substrate Adhesion
GongZheng UV inks are formulated for adhesion to the full range of rigid substrates used in sign, display, packaging, and industrial printing: acrylic (PMMA), polycarbonate, PVC foam board, aluminium composite panel (Dibond/ACP), glass, ceramic, MDF, wood, and leather. Adhesion performance on each substrate depends on UV lamp power, cure speed, and surface pre-treatment where required. - Flexible Substrate Capability (Selected Models)
On GongZheng hybrid UV printers (GZF/GZR series) and RTR UV printers (ThunderJet AQ UV series), UV ink is also applied to flexible media — vinyl, PET, PP, and synthetic fabrics. On these printers, the ink formulation is tuned for the bending and elongation requirements of flexible substrates to prevent cracking after application.
