The Atexco VegaPress 440C Pro is a high-speed color inkjet commercial web press — part of the VegaPress C Pro series engineered for digital book printing, catalogue production, newspaper, educational materials, direct mail, and user manuals at industrial throughput. Equipped with Kyocera inkjet heads operating at 600×600 dpi (standard) and 600×960 dpi Pro (HD mode) with a minimum ink droplet of 2PL, the 440C Pro delivers up to 80,000 A4 pages per hour in single-side Roll-to-Sheet mode at 100 m/min — and extends to 600×960 dpi at 65 m/min for premium quality output on glossy coated paper. - In Roll-to-Sheet mode at 100 m/min (600×600 dpi), the VegaPress 440C Pro delivers up to 80,000 single-side A4 pages per hour — meeting the throughput demands of commercial book printing, direct mail, and educational material production at volumes where offset has traditionally held the advantage. Roll-to-Roll mode at the same speed also delivers 80,000 pages/hr for continuous web-format output.
600×960 dpi Pro — Premium Quality on Glossy Coated Paper
- HD mode at 600×960 dpi, 65 m/min delivers 50,000 pages/hr in Roll-to-Sheet and Roll-to-Roll modes — enabling premium quality output on glossy coated paper (up to 157 gsm) that rivals offset quality for catalogues, high-end books, and marketing collateral. A minimum ink droplet of 2PL ensures smooth gradients, fine detail, and accurate color reproduction.
Kyocera Inkjet Heads — 2PL Minimum Droplet, 600 dpi Pro

The HD ink variant specifically addresses glossy coated paper — enabling vivid color and high gloss output that standard pigment inks cannot achieve on coated substrates, as demonstrated in the VegaPress 440C Pro’s scanned print samples at 600×960 dpi on 157 gsm glossy coated stock.

- The VegaPress 440C Pro is a modular production line comprising: Unwinder-U1 (high-speed reliable feeding, 1,280 mm max roll diameter), Tower-1 and Tower-2 (each 600×600 dpi Pro, 2PL, 2,500 kg), Buffer-B1 (supporting high-speed stacking, 800 kg), and Cutting/Stacking System-C1 (fully automatic, 2,000 kg). The complete 440C Pro line spans 10,650 mm (standard) or 13,800 mm (extended), weighing 6,800–9,300 kg.
VegaRip Workflow — From File to Finished Stack
- VegaRip Work Flow Manager software controls the full production workflow from file submission through print to automatic cutting and stacking.
