- At 100 images per minute on A4 (simplex and duplex), the WF-C21000 delivers throughput comparable to dedicated production presses. A3 simplex runs at 54 ipm, with first page out in just 6.2 seconds — keeping short print runs economical and fast.
Epson Heat-Free Technology
- Unlike laser/toner presses that generate intense heat during fusing, the WF-C21000 uses Epson’s proprietary Heat-Free inkjet technology — eliminating the need for a fuser unit entirely. The result: 300 W operating power (vs. 1,500–2,500 W typical for comparable laser presses), lower maintenance costs, and extended component life — all critical for profitable short-run book production.
100,000-Print High-Yield Ink Set
- Each black ink cartridge yields 50,000 prints; the composite color yield is 50,000 prints per color. High-yield ink sets reduce consumable change frequency and cost-per-page — the two largest variables in short-run book economics. With a 400,000-page monthly duty cycle, the WF-C21000 sustains round-the-clock production environments.
Up to 350 gsm — Cover Stock Ready
