The HP Latex R1000 Plus is the all-in-one version of HP’s rigid and flexible Latex printing platform — growing your business into higher-value jobs on rigid boards and roll media, on one device, with white ink built in from day one. Where the standard R1000 requires an optional kit for roll printing, the R1000 Plus ships with the HP Latex R1000 Roll Printing Accessory Kit included — complete with 64-inch spindles (×2), a pneumatic gun adapter, and table-top roll holders (×2). - The R1000 Plus ships with the HP Latex R1000 Roll Printing Accessory Kit as standard — including 64-inch spindles (×2), a pneumatic gun adapter, and table-top roll holders (×2). This is the core differentiator versus the standard R1000: roll media handling is included from the outset, not an optional add-on. One device covers rigid boards and roll substrates without a separate purchase or installation step.
White Ink Without Waste — Automatic & Always Ready
- Just like the standard R1000, white ink capability is built in. HP 886 White Latex Printheads can be stored in offline cassettes when not in use — no white ink is consumed during servicing while idle. Automatic recirculation and printhead cleaning eliminate manual purging, keeping the press always ready to print white on demand.
Glossiest White — Resists Yellowing
- Based on HP internal testing, the R1000 Plus produces the glossiest white among CMYK-configuration printers under $350,000 USD, at 60° gloss on rigid acrylic per ISO 2813 / ASTM D523. This white resists yellowing over time — critical for retail displays, signage, and decorative applications where color fidelity must hold up over the product’s lifetime.
