Klieverik

Dye Sublimation & Fixation Calenders
Brilliant Colors | Sharp Edge Definition | Reproducibility | First Time Right Production.
OVERVIEW
Klieverik Heli BV is a dynamic and agile manufacturer of machines for the textile industry, headquartered in Oldenzaal, the Netherlands. With more than 40 years of experience, Klieverik designs, produces, installs, and maintains innovative industrial calenders for dye sublimation transfer printing (paper to textile) and fixation of direct-printed dispersed dyes or pigments. Klieverik equipment is state of the art, robust, and designed for the professional manufacturer. All machine details are implemented with a specific purpose in mind — culminating in calenders that precisely control the critical variables of temperature, pressure, and web handling during the sublimation process. The result is high-value end-products with brilliant colors and sharp edge definition, every time.

    Description

Every Klieverik calender is built around three precision-engineered technologies that together deliver the color consistency, throughput, and reliability that professional sublimation production demands:

Unique Expansion Vessel — 100% Oil-Filled Drum, Every Time

    • Klieverik’s patented expansion vessel is the single most important technical differentiator in their calender design. Thermal oil expands by up to 20% as it heats. The expansion vessel compensates for this volume change, ensuring the drum is always completely filled with oil — from cold start through to full operating temperature and throughout the entire production run. This guarantees zero air pockets in the drum, which means no cold spots, no temperature variation over the width, and no color output differences from left to right or over time. You get the same color at metre 1 and metre 10,000.

Thermal Oil Heating — Precise, Fast, Consistent

    • Klieverik calenders use thermal oil for regulating and accurately maintaining the drum’s surface temperature. Heating elements are in direct contact with the thermal oil — using simple laws of thermodynamics for shorter heat-up times and more energy-efficient operation. An internal displacer limits the oil content, enabling quick start-up. The combination of direct heating, internal oil circulation, and the expansion vessel means consistent temperature distribution across the full cylinder width and throughout the duration of the transfer printing process.

Long Belt with Precision Steering — No Print Distortion

    • Klieverik machines are equipped with a long belt and a special steering system that minimises lateral movement of the belt. This precision guiding of the belt, combined with the lack of lateral movement of the paper and fabric, makes it possible to print with the highest degree of edge sharpness — sharp enough for the most demanding geometric and shirting patterns. It also extends the life of the belt significantly.

The result: reproducibility and high processing speeds — first time right production, less waste, fewer reprints. Klieverik machines are made with high-quality components. Downtime is limited. Production is guaranteed.
