TH5 Thermal Imaging Head — Superior Dot Quality
- Kodak’s proprietary TH5 thermal head delivers a more precise, accurate dot than the Gaussian technology used in other vendors’ CTP devices. This translates to higher tonal stability, superior exposure uniformity, and consistent plate quality across every imaging cycle. With no moving parts, the TH5 head also offers outstanding robustness and is straightforward to service and maintain —minimizing downtime in production environments.
Up to 28 pph — High Production Throughput
- The T400 delivers up to 22 plates per hour (S speed) and 28 plates per hour (F speed) at 2400 dpi for standard 724 × 838 mm plates. The T800 handles larger formats up to 838 × 1,143 mm at up to 22 pph — enabling both general commercial and larger-format publication plate production from a single device family.
380W Imaging Power — Up to 95% Energy Saving
- A unique internal cooling system reduces power consumption during imaging to just 380 watts — a reduction of up to 95% compared to some competitor CTP devices. Combined with the LCA technology eliminating the need for a separate debris removal system, the Veriset significantly lowers the total energy cost of prepress operations.
Lens Contamination Avoidance (LCA) Technology
- New LCA technology enables compatibility with low to medium debris-generating plates without requiring an additional debris removal system. An active air curtain and a removable, operator-cleanable window protect the imaging laser lens from debris — reducing both capital cost and ongoing maintenance requirements.
Kodak Mobile CTP Control App
