Scodix SHD™ — Smart High-Definition Embellishment
- SHD technology represents a breakthrough in digital foiling — enabling fine lines, intricate pattern detail, tiny text, and large-surface flat foiling simultaneously on a single pass. Brand owners and packaging converters can now specify any embellishment design without compromising on fine detail or large-area coverage — previously impossible with conventional digital foiling technology.

- The Ultra 7000 SHD supports 17 embellishment applications — from Scodix Sense™ (raised gloss embossing), Scodix Foil™ (real foil without dies), Scodix Cast&Cure™ (3D holographic), Scodix Sculpture™ (multi-layer 3D), Scodix Glitter™, Scodix Braille™, and Scodix Crystal™ to Scodix VDE™ (variable data enhancement). Every application runs on the same press, enabling combinations that create entirely unique premium effects.
B1/41″ Format — 1,060 × 760 mm Maximum
- The Ultra 7000 SHD handles sheets up to 1,060 × 760 mm (41.7 × 30 in) — covering the full B1 format standard used across the Indian packaging and commercial print sectors. Maximum image area is 1,000 × 700 mm.
Rigid + Corrugated + Paper — One Press Handles All
- Uniquely, the Ultra 7000 SHD handles all three substrate categories: paper (135–675 gsm), rigid materials (Dibond, acrylic, Forex, display board up to 4 mm), and corrugated cardboard (up to 4.5 mm thickness) — on the same press. Via Scodix DTB (Direct To Board Embellishment) and Twin-Tray™ technology, embellishments are applied directly to boards and rigid substrates without secondary handling.
RSP™ Technology — ±100-Micron Auto-Registration
- The 4-CCD camera RSP™ (Rotate, Scale, Position) system automatically aligns embellishment to print with ±100-micron image-to-image registration accuracy — with no operator intervention. Scodix MLE™ (Multi-Layer Enhancement) enables multiple embellishment layers to be accurately registered on top of each other.
